TikTok Ads for HVAC contractors

HVAC shops that treat TikTok like a billboard waste money. Shops that treat it like a camera on a real job — then pay to push the clips that already got comments — can actually book work. That’s the version I run, and the version I post at @joeymarketing_homesvs.

I grew an electric and HVAC shop with my own marketing spend. Real tests, not theory. How Lead Junkies got built.

Organic first. Then spend.

I post HVAC marketing content on TikTok because that is where the attention is. The same rule applies to your shop: if a video of a blown capacitor or a changeout walkthrough does not get a reaction when it is free, Spark Ads will not save it. We take what is already working — hooks, job footage, how you talk — and turn it into paid.

No studio. No “professional” voiceover that sounds like a national brand pretending to be local. Phone, the unit, a tech who can talk. Vertical. Captions. One job per clip. HVAC TikTok ads fail when you mash repair, replacement, and a membership into 18 seconds of stock music.

  • Hooks for no-cool vs changeout vs membership — not one generic HVAC video
  • Paid amplification on posts that already moved
  • Landing or DM path that a dispatcher can actually handle

Talk like a tech, not a catalog

Southeast homeowners scroll past polished HVAC commercials all day. They stop for a guy on a roof who says what the unit is doing in normal words. AI can write a caption. It cannot replace that. TikTok Ads for HVAC contractors is not “go viral.” It is get the right people to tap, then get a human on it before the job goes to the next shop in the zip.

Watch the embeds on /videos. The booked-customer captions are my shop, labeled so nobody treats them like a Lead Junkie client wall. The Forms vs Messages clip, the SEO clip, the “you may not need more new customers” clip — those are the topics, expanded in the blog, linked back to this service when paid TikTok is the lever.

What we actually set up

A path a dispatcher can handle: site click-to-call, a form that emails you, or DMs if someone is actually in the inbox. Geo that matches dispatch. Kill what attracts tire-kickers. Measure booked conversations, not “views.” Views without a phone process are entertainment.

TikTok without follow-up is the same leak as Meta. Speed-to-lead, missed-call text-back, after-hours in July. If that is broken, I will tell you paid TikTok is a waste before we light a budget. No public prices. HVAC contractors in the Southeast: get a quote. Call 786-910-6062.

How this sits next to Meta and Google

TikTok is interruption and proof. Google is someone already searching “AC not cooling.” Meta is often the same interruption family as TikTok with Instant Forms and Messenger as the plumbing. Some shops need all three. Some need Google and a site until creative exists. We pick it from the shop, not from whatever platform is trendy in a Facebook group.

FAQ

Do I need a studio for HVAC TikTok ads?
No. Phone, the unit, a tech who can talk. Studio polish is how you look like every other ad in the feed.
Can you run ads from my existing @ account?
If the organic already works, that is the starting point. If the account is dead, we talk content before spend.
Is TikTok only for young homeowners?
Plenty of HVAC buyers watch. The question is whether your creative and follow-up can book the job, not a demographic slide.
