SEO for HVAC contractors

SEO for an HVAC shop is not a 40-page report and a promise to hit #1. It’s getting found for the jobs you actually run in the markets you actually serve — service pages that sound like your trucks, not a national directory.

I grew an electric and HVAC shop with my own marketing spend. Real tests, not theory. How Lead Junkies got built.

Pages that match how homeowners search

People search like their attic is 140 degrees. “AC not cooling,” “AC repair near me,” “heat pump not heating.” If your site is one homepage and a contact form, Google has nothing honest to rank. We build and tighten the pages that should exist for an HVAC contractor: service, replacement, maintenance, and the cities you actually run — without stuffing a fake office into every suburb.

Copy should sound like dispatch, not “comprehensive indoor comfort solutions.” Internal links from those pages to contact, to the jobs you sell, and to the areas you staff. That is HVAC SEO. Doorway spam is not.

  • Service pages for the work you sell
  • Local pages only where you really roll trucks
  • Technical basics so the site is not fighting itself

Old-school SEO is not enough by itself

I said that on TikTok because HVAC owners still buy ranking retainers while the phone goes to voicemail and there is no search campaign for no-cool. SEO still compounds. It is not overnight. If you need jobs this week, we talk Google Ads and Meta too. Rankings into a dead form are still junk.

Technical basics: speed on mobile, crawlable titles and H1s that match the job, canonicals that do not compete with themselves, no duplicate city copies. Schema that matches visible content — Service, FAQ, Organization — not fake LocalBusiness NAP for towns you do not serve. I will not put a fake ranking guarantee on this page.

SEO does not replace follow-up

A ranking that sends calls to voicemail is still junk. Same rule as ads: speed-to-lead, a page that can convert, and an owner who knows which queries became jobs. If your market is a knife fight or your site is not ready, I will say that on the call.

This pairs with HVAC website design. Ads and SEO are only as good as the page they land on. No public SEO retainers. HVAC contractors in the Southeast: get a quote. 786-910-6062. joeyleadjunkie@gmail.com.

Only where you dispatch. Doorway suburbs waste crawl and trust.
