Meta Ads
Meta Ads for HVAC contractors
Facebook and Instagram can book HVAC jobs. They can also fill a spreadsheet with people who wanted a free estimate and a Tuesday next month. I run Meta for HVAC shops in the Southeast — forms vs messages, the offer, and whether your team actually answers.
I grew an electric and HVAC shop with my own marketing spend. Real tests, not theory. How Lead Junkies got built.
Forms vs Messenger is the whole game
Instant Forms are easy. A homeowner taps, types a phone number, and Meta hands you a CSV. That works when the offer is clean — a tune-up, a membership, a simple diagnostic — and someone on your side calls back in minutes, not tomorrow. Volume feels like HVAC lead generation. Booked trucks are HVAC lead generation.
Messenger is a conversation. Changeouts, “what would you charge to replace this,” and anything that needs a photo of the unit usually belong in the thread. If nobody is watching the inbox, Messenger is just a prettier way to miss the lead. You will brag about cheap conversations you never had.
I do not run the same HVAC template for every shop. We pick forms or messages from how you actually dispatch, not from a webinar. If your CSR lives on the phone and hates chat, we are not forcing Messages because a guru liked Reels this month. If your team already lives in Messenger, we are not dumping Instant Forms into a CRM graveyard for sport.
- Instant Forms when the offer is simple and speed-to-lead is real
- Messenger when the job needs a conversation
- Cut junk audiences instead of “boosting” the same post forever
Creative that already worked for free
The cheapest R&D in HVAC Facebook ads is organic. Film the no-cool. Talk like a tech on the driveway. If a post did not stop the scroll when it was free, paying Meta to show it to more people will not magically make it a booked job. You are not Trane’s national campaign. Homeowners in the Southeast book the shop that sounds like it can show up today.
One job per clip. No-cool is not a changeout. A membership pitch is not a capacitor swap. Captions because people watch muted. Vertical because that is the feed. AI can write a caption. It cannot replace a real unit and a real voice. I have said on TikTok that small shops should not compete like a national brand. That is the creative brief.
A number from my shop — not a client case study
On TikTok I talked about a week where $1,800 of Meta ads booked 31 new customers for my own electric and HVAC business. I also talked about 25 new customers with $700 of marketing spend. Those clips are labeled on this site. They are my shop. They are not Lead Junkie client results. They are not a package price. They are not a guarantee for your zip.
I spent $750,000 of my own money learning which HVAC Meta campaigns book and which ones fill a junk list. The electric and HVAC company went from $2.1 million to $7 million on tests I paid for. Air Quality AC is a separate brand. If you want the longer labeled versions, read Joey’s shop results.
What we actually set up
Pixel and events that match how you want to optimize — leads that can become calls, not vanity clicks. Audiences fenced to the counties you dispatch. Offers that match capacity: if you cannot take another no-cool tonight, we should not run a panic ad that implies you can.
Follow-up is part of the campaign. Missed-call text-back, owner alerts, a CSR who knows a real no-cool from a tire-kicker. If estimates die in the inbox, Meta is just a more expensive version of the same leak. I will say that before we scale spend.
Who this is for
HVAC contractors in the Southeast with trucks, a phone, and capacity. Other home-service shops in the same markets can still get a quote. HVAC Facebook ads are the work I will actually design. No public service prices. No shared marketplace leads. Get a quote or call 786-910-6062. Email joeyleadjunkie@gmail.com. TikTok @joeymarketing_homesvs.
FAQ
- Do you run Facebook ads or Meta Ads?
- Same account. Facebook and Instagram. We pick Instant Forms or Messenger from how your HVAC shop actually answers.
- Is $1,800 what Lead Junkie charges for Meta?
- No. That was ad spend on Joey’s own shop. There is no public fee list. Get a quote.
- Will you boost our existing posts?
- Not as a strategy. If a post already worked organic, we can put real ads behind it. The boost button is not a campaign.
